WHAT I WORK ON
I build Jobxy's web app across both sides of the marketplace: the employer portal, where companies post jobs, schedule their crew, take attendance and run a manpower pool, and the worker side, where people find shifts, apply and keep track of where they need to be. Most of it reaches down into the API and the database, so I build those parts too.
Per-day job schedules, multi-day and overnight shifts, a week view that shows employers the gaps in their coverage, and open shifts workers can claim.
Applying shift by shift, accepting or releasing a worker from a single shift, and withdraw and re-apply flows that keep the schedule honest.
Marking crew present, late, no-show or excused on each shift, so a no-show stops counting as hours worked and the estimated cost updates to match.
Company accounts with roles and permissions, join codes, approval for new members, and the manpower pool that accepted workers join.
Messaging between employers and crew: group chats, photo attachments, typing indicators, read receipts, reactions and push notifications.
Two-way reviews between workers and employers, reporting and moderation, and sign-in sessions with a device list and sign-out everywhere.
